  • Cherry Brandy – Creme de Mure or Framboise wine would make an excellent substitute to create the same tart taste of traditional sloe gin. You can also use regular brandy or cognac instead if desired.

How to Make a Sloe Gin Fizz Without Sloe Gin?

First, let’s start with the ingredients:

  • 1 part lemon juice
  • 2 parts cherry brandy
  • 4 parts sparkling water

Steps:

  1. Start by adding your fresh lemon juice and cherry brandy together in a shaker.
  2. If you don’t have any cherry brandy, no problem! Just use an extra part of lemon juice instead.
  3. Then add ice and shake for about 15 seconds.
  4. Finally, strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice and top it off with sparkling water. Voila- you’ve got yourself a Sloe Gin Fizz without sloe gin!    

Tips:

  • If you like your drinks a little sweeter, feel free to add simple syrup or powdered sugar.
  • For added flavor and color, garnish the drink with half of a lemon slice and a Maraschino cherry.

How to Make a Non-Alcoholic Sloe Gin Fizz

Making a non-alcoholic sloe gin fizz is just as easy as making one with alcohol. Simply skip the cherry brandy and add sparkling water to complete your drink!

You can also eliminate the lemon juice, replace it with a splash of grenadine syrup, and serve with a maraschino cherry for an extra fruity flavor.
